Men's Tennis

 Competing as a Division I sport in the Atlantic 10 Conference for more than 25 years, The George Washington University men’s tennis team is establishing itself as the premier program in the Atlantic 10 with a 24-4 record over the past 3 years. Our players exemplify the role of student-athletes by excelling in the classroom as well as on the court. Our goal is to build on our success in conference play and reach our first NCAA tournament in the program’s history.

 Our team prides itself on its competitiveness and enjoys the opportunity to perform well against top-ranked teams. As our program continues to flourish, we need the opportunity to make our mark against the top programs in the country. Additional funding and support will enable us to travel to tournaments where our players can showcase their talents on a national stage.

 Fundraising is a vital aspect to our team’s success. We have the opportunity to offer corporate sponsorship at our tennis facility, located in the Palisades of Washington, D.C. on the Mount Vernon Campus of GW. Sponsorship can help us fully train, equip, and make the most of our talented athletes.

· Currently 490 students live at the Mount Vernon Campus.

· Fall 2010, close to 700 students will live there.

· 1,950 students attend classes each week.

· Fall 2012, the number will be closer to 3,000 students.

· Approximately 600 tennis players visit the courts each week

· Approximately 50,000 cars use the parking garage annually

· Close to 700,000 riders take the Mount Vernon Shuttle annually
